چکیده

In Attribute-based Encryption (ABE) scheme, attributes play a very important role. Attributes have been exploited to generate a public key for encrypting data and have been used as an access policy to control users’ access. The access policy can be categorized as either key-policy or ciphertext-policy. The key-policy is the access structure on the user’s private key, and the ciphertext-policy is the access structure on the ciphertext. And the access structure can also be categorized as either monotonic or non-monotonic one. Using ABE schemes can have the advantages: (1) to reduce the communication overhead of the Internet, and (2) to provide a fine-grained access control. In this paper, we survey a basic attribute-based encryption scheme, two various access policy attributebased encryption schemes, and two various access structures, which are analyzed for cloud environments. Finally, we list the comparisons of these schemes by some criteria for cloud environments.

Security and privacy are very important challenges for outsourced private data over cloud storages. By taking Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) for Access Control (AC) purpose we use fine-grained AC over cloud storage. In this paper, we extend previous Ciphertext Policy ABE (CP-ABE) schemes especially for mobile and resource-constrained devices in a cloud computing environment in two aspects, a ...

Browse searchable encryption schemes: Classification, methods and recent developments

With the advent of cloud computing, data owners tend to submit their data to cloud servers and allow users to access data when needed. However, outsourcing sensitive data will lead to privacy issues. Encrypting data before outsourcing solves privacy issues, but in this case, we will lose the ability to search the data. Searchable encryption (SE) schemes have been proposed to achieve this featur...

A Brief Survey on Encryption Schemes in Cloud Environments

For the last two years cloud computing is a important in the IT industry. In cloud computing data owners and service providers are not in the same trusted domain so the Service providers should not be a trusted one and they are all third party. It focuses on a technique to Hierarchical Attribute Set Based Encryption (HASBE); it is proposed by the Cipher Policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE)...
